Prenatal Yoga Series

Experience a journey of wellness tailored to every stage of pregnancy with our candle-lit and chiropractic-informed yoga series. Led by Dr. Rachel Stummer, our 6-week series offers a comprehensive approach to nurturing your body throughout pregnancy. Each week, delve into essential concepts aimed at fostering body awareness, breath control, pelvic floor support, and enhancing strength and mobility. Our sessions blend informative discussions and intentions setting with invigorating 45-minute yoga flows designed specifically for expectant mothers. Join us and empower yourself with the tools to support your body and mind during this transformative time.

Postpartum Recovery Series

This is a doctor-created 4-week movement series for postpartum women. The goal of the class is to educate women on how to intentionally recover postpartum, while reintroducing exercise safely. We focus on core and pelvic floor function, but will also work postural strengthening, upper body and lower body strength. There will be modifications with resistance bands, dumbbells, kettlebells and even barbells. You will be moving the entire class, aside from maybe the first 5-10 minutes where we will discuss a different postpartum educational topic each day. Topics will include pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary incontinence, DRA, hormone dysfunction and even postpartum nutrition. You will also leave each class with a 15-20 minute workout that will be emailed to you. By the end of the series you will have 8 workouts to continue to cycle through at home after the series ends. It will be held at Pinnacle Hill Chiropractic in the beautiful PHC Training Facility on the lower level.

Not at all. Every experience level is welcome and I will always explain each movement or pose, with options of modifications, in order to make sure everyone feels comfortable and confident.

Nope! All stages of pregnancy are welcome. I will tailor our movements and poses to what will feel best and safest for each individual.

Yourself, comfortable clothing to move in, and a water bottle! I will provide the yoga mats and props, but you are always more than welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
