Dr. Michael Penkin is a chiropractor in Rochester, NY, who works with athletes and individuals experiencing low back pain. His goal is to provide effective treatment for lumbar disc injuries, including herniations, bulges, and protrusions, using an evidence-based approach to help his patients achieve immediate and long-lasting relief.

Dr. Mike became a chiropractor because of his own experience with chronic low back pain. Following an injury while working as an Electrical Engineer, he decided to pursue a second career as a chiropractor. Ever since, he has strived to enhance athletic performance, alleviate pain and improve the quality of life for his patients.

Dr. Mike graduated from Alfred University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering before receiving his Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College, now Northeast College of Health Sciences He has continued his education over the last 10+ years by training with influential doctors like Stuart McGill, Craig Liebenson, and Kelly Starrett. He is also an Active Release Techniques® (ART®) Certified Provider and has been trained in McKenzie Method.
